Their new album, titled The Education of a Wandering Man is a different approach for the seasoned Americana duo made up of Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance, who have known each other since they were teenagers.
“Zach and I actually met in trigonometry class, we were 15 years old and we wrote our first song shortly after. We were 15 and have known each other since we were kids and started Jamestown about five years ago,” Clay told AXS. “We’ve been through a lot together and it definitely helps in our writing process and touring as well. It’s good to tour with your friends.”
Their music and the new album is inspired from things around them, specifically events that have occurred throughout their lives together.
